4 Signs Your House is Cleaner than You Think

How to Keep Your House Clean All the Time
Keeping your house clean all the time is quite the chore – quite literally, in fact – but sometimes people simply overdo it. Some people spend a serious amount of time in home cleaning when they could have been doing something else simply because the house is already cleaner than they’d think it is. It is not that unnatural to start cleaning a room that has already been taken care of, or could have had a few more days without giving it some care. Your home might just be one of those and you might be spending more time as a home cleaner rather than doing something much more pleasant. Here are the signs you need to keep in mind:
1. Considerate Friends
Some people have to do a lot of house cleaning simply because their friends are pigs. They come in, drink your wine, eat your food, put their feet on the table, and leave the house a mess. But then, there are the considerate friends who actually care if they leave a mess behind. They will take their shoes off when entering, they will use the coaster, they will avoid spilling crumbs, they will make sure that nothing falls on the floor. If you have those friends, that means less time spent on living room cleaning.
2. Making your Bed
There are two kinds of people – those who make their bed when they get up in the morning and slobs. In the case of the former - you are probably much more organised than you think. You probably spend more time on cleaning than you realise, and it probably just comes as a reflex because of your need to keep everything in good condition and order. Subconsciously you are already planning on how to do the kitchen cleaning after that meal so that you don’t have to spend time on it later.
3. Organised Home
Take a look at your living room – what do you see? If everything is in its place, and there is no clutter around, then you have nothing to worry about. Most of the dirty homes are cluttered and many home owners simply refuse to deal with the problem. But if you are an organised person and put everything back in its place after using it, then you don’t have to worry about clutter.
4. Cleaning Supplies: What Are They For?
A huge tell when trying to identify a clean person with a clean home is asking them if they know what all their cleaning supplies do. You’d be surprised how many people spend a huge amount of money on domestic cleaning products and use only half of them, while the rest are stored in their cupboards. But if you are fully equipped with the knowledge of what your cupboard contents are for, then you are much more proficient in house cleaning than you think you are.
See if you exhibit any of these signs and if you do, then you are probably already doing too much for your home. You should in fact spend your free time doing something you enjoy. Get a cleaning company to take care of your household chores for a while and rest up a bit.
