TERMS & CONDITIONS

The conditions which follow lay out the obligations, rights and responsibilities of every party involved with this agreement. The existing terms and conditions can be modified or changed without any prior notice.

1.    Introduction
•    Please check that all details in these terms and conditions are accurate, complete and fully understood before you make a commitment to the contract.

2. Bookings and Confirmation
2.1 When making the booking, it's necessary to supply our company with an accurate description of your property. Clean Carpets maintains the right to change or modify the given quote for any additional work that needs to be done.
2.2 If inaccurate, misleading, incorrect or incomplete information and/or instructions are given, we reserve the right to cancel the order or otherwise make an additional charge.
2.3 Accessing property: It's necessary to make sure any property is accessible.
(a) In the case of our cleaners being unable to gain access to a property, a minimum charge of £50 will be liable to the client.
2.4 In order to make a booking, credit or debit card details must be provided.
    (a) A 2% additional charge is applied when paying by credit card
2.5 Once confirmation is given that a job will be carried out, a time will be reserved for that service.  It's important to note that any time given is an estimate, as circumstances such as weather, traffic or force majeure events can affect the specific time a job is actually carried out.
2.6 Please note it's the responsibility of the client to make parking arrangements. Any parking fines or fees incurred are liable to the customer.

3. Pricing and Payment:
3.1 The services provided can either be paid in cash or by card via the phone at the beginning of the service. Cheques are not accepted.
3.2 Prices given are based on the corresponding provided service's minimum charge.
3.3 Supplemental charges may include: £11.50 for the congestion charge or a supplemental charge if your property is outside the M25.

4. Rescheduling and Cancellation of Appointments:
4.1 In the event you cancel an appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled job, a £50 cancellation fee will be applied without further notice.
4.2 In the event an appointment needs to be rescheduled less than 24 hours before the job is due to start, Clean Carpets reserves the right to charge £25.

5. Services:
5.1 It's essential our cleaning teams have sufficient lighting and warm water available at the stated property. In the event of our cleaning teams well-being or health being threatened, Clean Carpets reserves the right to cancel any appointment.
5.2 Our company reserves the right to sub-contract any particular service or all of the services provided.
5.3 It's required that either you or a representative is available at the end of the job to sign off the work done as finished to your satisfaction. In the event you are not present, said services provided will be treated as accepted by you.

6. Liability:
6.1 Clean Carpets will not be held liable in the event of:

(a) discolouration or wear of fabric being more prominent once any dirt has been removed

(b) any existing spillage or damage cannot be completely removed
(c) wood floor damage where felt pads or protection have not being attached to the legs of furniture
(d) services not being finished due to any third party entering.

(e) Shrinkage of curtains during any curtain steam cleaning

Clean Carpets aim to deal with any issues arising with the service provided. It's important to note that any complaint that is filed seven working days later from when the service was provided will NOT be dealt with.
